The following support article demonstrates how to turn off Automatic Updates for WordPress within Parallels Plesk 12. By turning on Automatic Updates, security and functionality updates for WordPress will to be applied automatically to your site.
After logging in to Plesk, click on “WordPress” on the right hand side of the screen.
Select the WordPress Install and click “Auto-Update”.
Select the subscription and click “Switch on Auto-update”.
NOTE: It is important to keep regular back ups of your WordPress site as plugin and theme updates can cause website breakages. It is always good to check your website following updates being applied, and if breakage occurs, you may need to restore a backup of your website to rectify the issue.
WordPress “Auto-Update” has now been turned on.
